Making Strawberry Wine in Just a Few Days
If you are interested in making strawberry wine, then this guide will help you. Before anything else, start by preparing everything, including 4 pounds of sliced strawberries, 2 pounds of sugar, a saucepan, a wooden spoon, a colander, cheesecloth, a large bowl, wine yeast, a straight pin, a balloon, and a milk jug which can be sealed tightly with a cap. First, mix the strawberries and the sugar in the saucepan. Second, heat the mixture at medium low heat for about an hour while stirring it often. Third, use several layers to line the colander and then place it in the bowl. Fourth, use the colander to strain the strawberries and collect the juice in the bowl. Next, you will then need to pour it into the milk jug. To continue, add a package of wine yeast into the jug. Furthermore, poke three holes on the balloon with pins and stretch it over the opening of the jug. If necessary, use your finger to stuff the rest of the balloon inside the jug and then cover it with the cap. Afterwards, let it ferment in a warm place. Finally, after about thirty days, the balloon will deflate and the wine is done.
